Universal Automation is a Chrome browser extension that automatically searches and applies for jobs on Universal Jobmatch, the government-run job search website which benefit claimants are forced to use.

You need to provide your Universal Jobmatch login detail, specify job search parameters such as title, location, distance and date posted. Then you click Start and the extension logs you in, searches for jobs and automatically applies to every job posted on Universal Jobmatch matching your criteria.

The purpose of this project is to support the unemployed in their fight against the bullying and repressive regime of benefit sanctions.
