Well this might be a solution for you. Most companies blocks the normal http:// version of the image, but they don't block the secured https:// version.

So the only thing that this extension does, is redirects to the secure https:// and adds .jpg as an extension.

So no more blocking and no more loading extra Imgur website extras, only load the image you require!
