Citrix Workspace app is a new client from Citrix that works similar to Citrix Receiver and is fully backward-compatible with your organization’s Citrix infrastructure. Citrix Workspace app provides the full capabilities of Citrix Receiver, as well as new capabilities based on your organization’s Citrix deployment.

Citrix Workspace app is built on Citrix Receiver technology, and is fully backward compatible with all Citrix solutions.

Once installed, you need to configure Receiver for Chrome to connect to your company’s Citrix servers. If you know the URL, you can enter it yourself. Otherwise, contact your IT department to get started.

Important note: this Receiver extension - Citrix is NOT owned and not related to the official Citrix Workspace extension. This is an informal extension that is developed and maintained independently. This unofficial extension (browser add-on) is a wrapper to the original site https://www.citrix.com/ and performs the function of opening the site for ease of use.
